Bought a 1/2 pound of crappie minnows and crappie fished the timber around Goat Island and North of Scout Island. We marked LOTS of fish from 15 to 30 FOW suspended in the timber in 35 to 60 FOW. I could not get these fish to GO. Caught 2 spots, a drum, a blue gill and a 12 inch walleye. ZERO Crappie. Ouch.
